Squeals on Wheels
With multiple costumes being revealed to kids all over the Kansas City Metro, we were happy to grant these kids their Halloween wish costume!
A Day Filled with smiles
In mid-October, we host our annual reveal party. Every child in the Kansas City Metro area that is receiving a costume from one of our build teams, received it “live” on stage behind a curtain. We bring the families up on stage, talk to them about what it is they requested, and then countdown to zero where we pull the curtain back to reveal the costume. The build team is typically behind the curtain with the costume as well. Then they show the family all the features that are added onto the costume, such as sounds, lights, etc. We also help the kids get their costumes onto their wheelchairs and have a professional photographer on site to take photos with them. It’s a magical day for everyone, with lots of smiles, laughter, and a few happy tears.

A very special thanks to all of our build teams that helped make these incredible costumes for the kids this year. Many schools came together to build these as part of their STEM program. Both Middle Schools and High Schools helped with these costumes.
