Reese Davis
Started in 2015, Reese has been involved with the construction of over 150 costumes. He began leading teams while in Middle School and often helps with hosting the "Squeals on Wheels" reveal party.

Experienced Build Team member, who is the youngest person to design a costume, lead the team to build it, and end up winning, "Costume of the Year" voted by his peers.

Jake has helped with Walkin' & Rollin' Costumes since the very first year we started. He has built multiple costumes with us each year ever since then. He calls himself, "a lifer."

Jason and his daughter Catherine saw our ad for volunteers back in 2019. They helped build their first costume then, and haven't looked back since.

Since 2019, Catherine helped her dad build a "Spider-Glitter-Meyer" themed wheelchair costume with us and ended up staying. Her love for cosplay helps with her costume designs.

Angela's first costumes to build were a couple of Star Wars costumes for some Make-A-Wish girls going to Walt Disney World. After seeing those girls' faces at the reveal party, Angela was hooked. She's been with Walkin' & Rollin' Costumes ever since.

Chris Rude
Chris built costumes for his son, Coen, who is also in a wheelchair. When he found out we were hosting a workshop, he hopped on a plane to see what he could learn. Little did he know that a few years later, he would be running a W&RC Chapter in the Blue Ridge Region.

After building many amazing wheelchair costumes for his son, Andy decided to see what he could learn at the same workshop as Chris Rude. They ended up bonding and Andy now helps in the Pennsylvania area, but still likes to come back to our annual workshops.

Angela was coming to another workshop of ours and decided to bring her friend, Dave. Once Dave found out he would be helping build a Top Gun Fighter Jet for a little girl in a wheelchair, he was hooked. Dave uses his military background to ensure that every detail is perfect.
Anita Davis

Anita Davis
Anita Davis is a member of the Davis family, founders of Walkin' & Rollin' Costumes. She prefers to work behind the scenes, adding the glitter and sparkle that bring each costume to life. Anita holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, which she puts to use supporting teachers and students as they build their costumes, helping ensure the entire project ties into their STEM curriculum.
Tom Knaus
Board Member/Occupational Therapist
Tom Knaus
Tom Knaus serves as a Board Member for Walkin' & Rollin' Costumes, bringing a deep, personal understanding of what life is like for kids in wheelchairs. A quadriplegic himself, Tom is also a disabled athlete who competes in wheelchair rugby, basketball, football, and more. Through his work as an Occupational Therapist and his own business, Wheelchair Wellness, he helps people newly navigating spinal cord injuries build strength, confidence, and independence.
